In any matter, some of you took note when I presented a short while ago "It's Over Now" bringing it to the forefront as a throwback from 2005. Well, recent situations put me back in touch with the sentiments of "its Over Now" I was thus inspired to pen something ENTIRELY new. I would like to share..
Its Over Now :BRAND NEW third verse. Circa de march '09:
Verse 3: Hannibal aka Lyrical Laureate
My heart will never mend,
and i thought- what we started' never end//
u started slidin', wit ya smart and clever friend
wen u give ya heart, they either discard it, shred, or bend
so we parted, its like a scarred and severed limb
as for cupid's arrow- a target, ive neva been
but i let it prick me, and now im sickly..
you held my heart ransom, i let you stick me//
wen we cut, we were closer than a schick be
we had a deal, that you brokered and you gipped me//
its all in the cards, wit poker, yea you tricked me
love lockdown, [had me] in choker when you gripped me//
no need to bicker, we stay spazzin' see
it all falls down, and that's the grave gravity//
to emotions, we've been a slave haven't we
no devotion, yea we've strayed haven't we//
CHORUS (sampled from Justin Timberlake "Never Again")
[too late, it's over now]
it's [too late, it's over now]
guess it's just [too, too late, it's over now]
This note is long enough, so for the original two verses.. see..

i think in ways, the first two verses are better. i was a better more seasoned, spry lyricist in '05. But this recent jotting had experiences behind it. The first set was written abstract. not having been through anything like that, but imagining.
but yea, i'm proud of this, just like i'm proud of "POET TO EMCEE" and "INSPIRED" (http://www.facebook.com/no
